Incorporation

At the 2008 TRENZA Summit a workplan was developed with the input received from both alumni and students and with the idea that a committee, once established, would explore and research the process of incorporation and steer and guide TRENZA through this process.  The discussion at the summit raised many questions as to how incorporation will benefit TRENZA and how incorporation will affect TRENZA.  As we delve into this process of becoming an incorporated entity the committee will proceed with caution and its most important mandate will be to keep the essence and spirit of TRENZA alive and well and to proceed in such a manner that is in the best interest of the organization.

The next eighteen months will create an opportunity for every member to consider how TRENZA can best serve its membership and to contribute their insight and "real world" experiences to this process so as to ensure that each voice is taken into consideration as we move forward.  In the next few months we will create a forum to further engage our members in this process via electronic surveys, e-mail discussions,  and in-person meetings and convenings as needed, we hope you will employ your energy and time to make these discussions productive and informative.

With every new endeavor that TRENZA embarks upon and each opportunity presented to us come significant and critical questions and challenges that TRENZA will need to address and overcome.  We hope that as alumni and students you will feel empowered to participate in this process.  TRENZA's success is due in large part to the many voices, opinions, support and encouragement that come together to advance the organization's mission and purpose.  This will be a collaborative process that will surely induce many informative and productive conversations.  We look forward to your continued participation and in fact will depend on it to continue to serve the best interests of TRENZA.
